About Mesmerist
The Mesmerist is a lively, late-night pub-and-music venue spread across four bars in the heart of the Brighton Lanes at 1-3 Prince Albert Street (BN1 1HE). Inspired by 1930s gin palaces, burlesque and steampunk, it puts on live music Sunday to Thursday — vintage and revival acts ranging from big bands with swing dancers to one-man blues performers — while weekend evenings are given over to its resident DJ spinning vintage classics and boutique rarities. With a cocktail bar, rooftop bar and hireable event spaces, it pairs a strong PA-equipped live-music programme with bottomless brunches and a buzzing Lanes location.
