Nautilus Lounge is a cosy, undersea-themed cocktail bar at 129-130 St James's Street in Kemptown, Brighton (BN2 1TH), with award-winning drinks and intimate live music every week. Wednesdays see singer-songwriter Dino Dini bring grassroots musicians together from 8pm, with performers playing in turn before a late jam session; every Sunday is a free open mic from 7pm (doors 6pm) where you can sing, play piano or bring your own instrument. There's also a monthly cash-prize quiz. A warm, performer-friendly Kemptown spot for acoustic and singer-songwriter nights.

About This Open Mic
The Night
Nautilus Lounge in Kemptown runs a friendly weekly open mic every Sunday — doors at 6pm, performances from 7pm. Whether you sing, speak, play the in-house piano or bring your own instrument, you're welcome to take the stage in this cocktail-bar setting with hand-crafted drinks, wines, beers and mocktails on the bar. Admission is free and the room is warm and supportive, so it's an easy first gig as much as a regular spot for local performers.
