Artists, venues, booking agents, and promoters use it to find each other — on the Live Music Map (an interactive UK map that runs across Explore, the gig directory, and venue, open-mic and profile pages) and via Smart Match, which recommends the best-fit artists or venues for what you need — send and negotiate booking requests, sign digital contracts, raise professional invoices, take payments and tips via Stripe, message in real time, manage their availability calendar, build setlists from a master Song Bank, design stage plots, create and ticket events (pushing them to Eventbrite in one tap where the venue sells tickets there), find each other for line-ups through Classifieds, and build media-rich profiles with audio, video, and verified reviews (including reviews imported from off-platform). Bands can run their profile as a team, with a login and a role for each member. GigXchange is now open to everyone. Alongside the four trade roles there is a fifth, demand-side role — the "organiser" — for anyone booking live music for an event, including private individuals (weddings, parties, celebrations) and businesses (corporate functions, launches, staff events). Organiser signup and artist discovery (browse, compare, message) are live now; the organiser self-serve booking-and-payment flow is rolling out. GigXchange is now full-stack: available on every device a UK musician or venue uses.
