How it works

From profile to a booker-ready press kit in four short steps — most of it fills itself in.

01Auto-fill

Your profile flows in

Bio, genres, photos, music, videos, reviews and your rate card arrive pre-loaded from your profile. A completeness meter shows what's still empty.

02Arrange

Blocks, your order

Drag 18 block types into magazine-style rows — full, half or quarter width. Show the reviews, lead with the showreel, hide what doesn't sell.

03Theme

Make it yours

Dark, light, gradient or custom preset, your accent colour and font — previewed as the exact public page before you publish.

04Publish

One link, everywhere

Your kit goes live at gigxchange.app/epk/your-name — paste it into pitch emails, bios and applications. It stays current on its own.

Everything in the kit

Built to answer a booker's questions before they ask them.

Auto-built

Assembled from your profile

Bio, genres, photos, music, videos, reviews and your rate card flow straight in from your GigXchange profile — nothing to re-upload, nothing to retype.

Blocks

18 drag-and-drop blocks

Header, Bio, Music Player, Photo Gallery, Videos, Reviews, Rate Card, Availability, Setlist, Tour Poster, Stats, Text and more — show what sells you, hide what doesn’t.

Layout

Magazine-style rows

Arrange blocks in rows of full, half and quarter widths — a designed page, not a stacked list, with a live preview as you build.

Themes

Dark, light, gradient or custom

4 theme presets plus your own accent colour and font, so the kit matches your brand instead of a template’s.

Music

Players built in

Audio tracks from your Song Bank play right on the page, alongside Spotify, SoundCloud and Bandcamp embeds — no leaving the kit to hear you.

Proof

Verified reviews on the page

Ratings and feedback from real GigXchange bookings render as a block — proof from people who actually paid you, not pull quotes.

Live URL

One link, always current

Publish to gigxchange.app/epk/your-name. The page reads your live profile, so new photos, reviews and rates appear without re-sending anything.

Booking

Book Me + live availability

A Book Me call-to-action and your live availability calendar sit on the kit — a booker who likes what they hear can act on the spot.

What makes an EPK that gets replies

Bookers skim dozens of acts a week — the habits of press kits that survive the cut.

Win the 30-second scan

A booker opening your kit is asking four questions, fast: who are you, what do you sound like, can you actually play a room, and what do you cost. An EPK that answers those in the first scroll — name and genre up top, a player that works in-page, verified reviews, a visible rate card — gets a reply. One that opens with three paragraphs of biography gets closed. The block system exists for exactly this: lead with the Music Player and Reviews, keep the long bio further down.

PDFs rot. Links don't.

The traditional press kit is a PDF attachment — accurate the day you exported it, wrong within a month. New photos, a better review, a rate change: every update means re-exporting and re-sending, so most acts never do. A published GigXchange EPK reads your live profile: the version a booker opens is always the current one, and the link you put in a festival application in March is still right in September.

Proof beats adjectives

Every act's bio says "tight, professional and versatile". What a booker actually trusts is evidence: ratings from verified bookings, real numbers in a Stats block, a setlist that shows you can fill two 45s. The Reviews block only renders feedback from bookings that really happened on the platform — which is precisely why it's worth more than any pull quote you could paste in yourself.

Make the next step obvious

The kit's job isn't applause — it's a booking. That's why Book Me and live availability are blocks on the page: a booker who likes what they hear can check your free dates and start the booking in the same sitting, with a contract and protected payment attached. No "email us for avails" dead end.

One link, everywhere you pitch

Put the same URL in your Instagram bio, your email signature, and every cold pitch — the venue outreach templates are written with an EPK link slot for exactly this. Pair it with the UK Gig Rate Calculator so the rate card on your kit matches the market, and work the live gig directory for rooms worth pitching. For the wider playbook, see how to get more gigs.

A free tool that builds an electronic press kit — a public page with your bio, music, photos, videos, reviews, rates and availability — from your GigXchange profile. You arrange up to 18 drag-and-drop blocks in magazine-style rows, pick a theme, and publish to your own link at gigxchange.app/epk/your-name. It lives in your dashboard alongside the rest of the free toolkit.
Yes — it comes with every free GigXchange profile, along with 15 other tools including the Tour Poster Maker and Setlist Builder. No card, no trial window, no watermark. GigXchange makes its money on the booking marketplace, not on tools.
18 block types: Header, Bio, Genres, Music Player, Photo Gallery, Videos, Reviews, Rate Card, Social Links, Book Me, Availability, Tour Poster, Setlist, Stats, Text Block, and Spotify, SoundCloud and Bandcamp embeds. Each block can be shown or hidden, and most come in full, half or quarter widths.
Publish once and your kit lives at gigxchange.app/epk/your-name — one clean URL for pitch emails, Instagram bios, and festival applications. Pair it with the free venue outreach templates when you’re pitching venues cold.
Yes — the published page reads your live profile data. Add press photos, land a new verified review, change your rate card, and the kit a booker opens tomorrow already shows it. No PDF re-exports, no stale attachments, and a completeness meter shows you what’s still empty while you build.
Four theme presets — dark, light, gradient or fully custom — plus your own accent colour and font. Blocks arrange in magazine-style rows of full, half and quarter widths, and you preview the exact public page before publishing.
No. The EPK is a public page — anyone with the link can open it, play your music and browse your photos. If they want to book you, the Book Me block routes them to your profile where they can message and book you direct, with a contract and protected payment on every booking.
Your profile is your marketplace listing — built for discovery and booking inside GigXchange. Your EPK is the curated pitch page you send out: you choose which blocks appear, in what order, at what size, under your own theme. Same live data underneath, different job.

Send the link, not the attachment

Sign up free, arrange your blocks, publish once. Your press kit stays current while you play.

I got tired of PDFs that were out of date the week after export. If your kit needs a block we don’t have, tell me and I’ll build it.
