Credit where due
Where a licence asks us to say so publicly, we do it here: the component, what it does inside the product, and the licence it is used under.
LAME MP3 encoder
The track trimmer converts your clip to MP3 in your own browser using LAME, via the @breezystack/lamejs port of lamejs. LAME is free software from lame.sourceforge.io, used under the GNU LGPL v3. We load it as a separate, unmodified file and do not change its source.
Credit where the licence asks for it
GigXchange is built on a great deal of open-source software. Most of it is MIT- or Apache-licensed and needs no public notice. This page lists the components whose licences ask for an acknowledgement, with a link to each project. New notices are added here as they arrive.
