Alphabet is an audio-led hi-fi pub and live venue on Dyke Road in central Brighton, housed in a Grade II listed building that began life as an 1867 school and was reborn in 2023 after a full refurbishment. Its Live Room holds up to 150 and is built around a high-fidelity PA and dynamic lighting, with the whole place obsessing over how sound reaches both artists and crowd. Programming roams widely — jazz and post-punk through to electronic and hip-hop — making it one of Brighton's most distinctive listening spaces.
