How it works

From confirmed gig to artwork in the feed — four short steps.

01Pick a look

5 styles, 3 formats

Bold, Neon, Classic, Story or Minimal — in feed, grid or story format. Every template is a finished design.

02Prefill

The gig fills itself in

Venue, date, doors and show time flow from your booking. Add price, genre and a line of copy if you want them.

03Make it yours

Photo, logo, colour, QR

Drop in your image and logo, set the accent and overlay, and point the QR at your ticket link.

04Post it

Export and share

High-res PNG for the feed or the print shop — and one-click sharing to everyone else on the bill.

Everything on the flyer

Designed templates that take your branding — and your booking data — without a designer.

Templates

5 styles, 15 templates

Bold, Neon, Classic, Story and Minimal — each in 4:5, square and 9:16 story formats. Mesh gradients, neon glow, dot grids: pick the look, not the layout.

Prefill

Built from your booking

Start a flyer from a gig and the venue, date, doors and show time flow straight on — no retyping, no wrong-date flyers.

Artwork

Your image, your logo

Upload a background photo and your logo, then position and scale both. Tint, overlay darkness and image opacity keep the text readable on any shot.

Type & colour

On-brand in two taps

Accent colour, gradient tones, title font and text colour — every template stays designed while taking your branding.

Tickets

A QR code that sells

Point the flyer’s QR at your ticket link, event page or profile — drag it anywhere on the artwork, or let it anchor neatly top-right.

Export

High-res PNG, instantly

Every flyer exports at full resolution — 1080px and up — ready for the feed, the story, the group chat or the print shop.

Sharing

Share to the lineup

Send a finished flyer to other GigXchange members in one click — it lands in their My Flyers with a message, so the whole bill promotes the night.

Library

My Flyers keeps them all

Every flyer you make is saved and editable — duplicate last month’s, change the date, done.

What makes a gig flyer work

The difference between artwork that fills a room and artwork that fills a feed.

The photo is the flyer

People stop for images, not information. Lead with your strongest live shot — faces and stage light beat logos and text every time — and let the template's overlay controls keep the details readable on top of it. That's why the builder puts image opacity, tint and overlay darkness on sliders: the same photo can carry all 5 styles depending on how it's treated.

One night, one message

A flyer isn't a poster — it sells a single night. Venue, date, doors, price: four facts, big enough to read at a glance, and nothing that competes with them. Because the builder prefills those from the booking itself, the classic flyer disasters — last year's date, the old venue name — can't happen. (Promoting a whole run of dates? That's the tour poster's job.)

Every format the night needs

The night gets promoted in at least three places: the feed (4:5), the grid (1:1) and stories (9:16) — and each crops differently. All 5 styles come in all 3 formats, so you export the set in one sitting instead of stretching one image into three wrong shapes.

Put a QR on everything printed

A printed flyer without a QR is a dead end — the reader has to remember to search later. Point the QR at the ticket link and the wall becomes a point of sale; point it at your GigXchange profile and a curious punter becomes a follower. Drag it wherever the artwork allows, and it stays scannable at print size.

The whole bill should post it

A night with 3 acts has 3 audiences — but only if everyone posts. Sharing the finished flyer to the other acts on GigXchange puts the same artwork in everyone's My Flyers, with a message attached. Same image, three feeds, one coherent night. For the rest of the promotion playbook — timing, captions, local pages — see the event promotion guide, and price the night right with the UK Gig Rate Calculator.

Yes — free with a GigXchange profile, like the Tour Poster, Setlist Builder and Booking Contract Generator. No card, no watermark ransom, no export limits.
Three formats per style: 4:5 tall (1080×1350) for the feed, 1:1 square (1080×1080) for the grid, and 9:16 story (1080×1920) for Instagram and Facebook stories or TikTok. All 5 styles — Bold, Neon, Classic, Story and Minimal — come in all three, which is where the 15 templates come from.
No. Each template is a finished design — typography, spacing and hierarchy are locked in by the style. Your decisions are the personal ones: photo, logo, accent colour, fonts and how dark the overlay sits over your image. The result looks commissioned, not templated.
Type any link — ticket page, event page, your GigXchange profile — and the flyer generates a scannable QR you can drag anywhere on the artwork (it anchors top-right until you move it). A printed flyer on a venue wall becomes a direct line to tickets.
A flyer sells one night — one gig, one venue, one date, usually with artwork doing the heavy lifting. A tour poster sells a run of dates with ticket status per date. GigXchange includes both, built from the same booking data, so you never retype an event.
Yes — share a finished flyer with any GigXchange member and it arrives in their My Flyers with a direct message. Support acts and the venue can all post the same artwork, which is how a night actually gets promoted. For the wider playbook, see the event promotion guide.
Yes — all 4 GigXchange roles get the toolkit. Venues can also auto-build an events poster of their whole upcoming programme in 1 click. See how it works for venues or every free tool.
