The Corn Exchange is part of the Brighton Dome complex on the Royal Pavilion Estate, a Grade I and Grade II listed hall originally built as the Prince Regent's riding house. Reopened in May 2023 after a six-year, GBP38 million refurbishment that restored the original timber and cast-iron trussed roof - the widest-span timber frame in the country - it hosts live music, theatre and performance with a retractable layout: 505 seated in theatre format, 400 cabaret, and around 800 for standing receptions (the council's published standing figure is 1,261). It's a flexible mid-scale room at the heart of the city's main arts venue.
