About Le Pub (The Paris House)
The Paris House (listed here as Le Pub / The Paris House) is a French-styled cafe-bar on the Brighton-Hove border at 21 Western Road, Hove (BN3 1AE), with live music at its very core. Free live Gypsy Jazz plays every Saturday 4-7pm, and the weekly programme spans French chanson, swing, blues, world and jazz-fusion across Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday slots. It serves sharing platters, French wines and European beers — and because the staff are musicians themselves, impromptu performances are part of the charm. A small, characterful, jazz-led grassroots room rather than a band-gig venue.
