About This Open Mic
The Night
The Cardigan Arms is a beautifully restored Grade II-listed Victorian pub on Kirkstall Road in Burley, Leeds, brought back to life by Kirkstall Brewery. Its open mic runs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month from 7:30pm, under the chandeliers in the function room — a warm, inclusive 'safe space' welcoming song, spoken word, comedy and more. Entry is free and performers get a free drink; ring the pub on 0113 350 2132 to book a slot.
About Cardigan Arms
The Cardigan Arms is a Grade II-listed Victorian pub on Kirkstall Road in the Burley area of Leeds, tastefully restored by Kirkstall Brewery — stained and etched glass, chandeliers, mirrors, plush side rooms, seventeen beer lines and a quaint courtyard. It has grown into a genuine community hub with music and arts events every week: an alternating Open Mic and Cardi Choir on Mondays (the inclusive Cardi open mic runs the 2nd and 4th Monday from 7:30pm), one of Leeds' favourite quizzes on Tuesdays, and a rolling programme of local and touring live bands, film nights, theatre and arts events across the rest of the week. There's also a function room and well-regarded kitchen.
