Left Bank Leeds is an arts and events venue inside the Grade II*-listed former St Margaret of Antioch church on Cardigan Road, in the Burley / Hyde Park area of Leeds (LS6 1LJ). A progressive space for creativity, culture and community, it holds 350 standing or 170 seated and runs an evolving programme of music, festivals, dances, open-mic nights, film screenings, comedy and workshops — the soaring church acoustics lending themselves especially to acoustic, folk, choral and classical performance. There's an in-house cafe, an outdoor courtyard, and the venue even brews its own beer (Reluctant Hero).

The Night
Left Bank Leeds is a glorious former church on Cardigan Road in Burley, and its 'Listen Up' open mic — hosted by the lovely Lily — is a safe space to share your creativity with an audience ready to listen. It runs on Tuesday evenings (with a pay-as-you-feel dinner served from 6pm), welcoming music, poetry, stories and comedy alike. Tickets are free, donations gratefully received, and you book a slot by emailing hello@leftbankleeds.org.uk in advance. A genuinely warm, community-minded night in one of Leeds' most atmospheric rooms.
