Six Poor Folk occupies one of Knaresborough's oldest buildings — dating to around 1480 — just off the ancient market square at 25 Castlegate. It's a characterful bar serving good food, local beers and ciders, wines, spirits and cocktails, and was named Bar of the Year 2024 in the Harrogate Hospitality Awards. The room hosts live music and a regular events calendar: a Wednesday quiz and a Friday-evening DJ spinning soul and funk.
