About The Oxford
The Oxford is a much-loved community pub on Oxford Street in Totterdown, south Bristol (BS3 4RL), with a reputation for live music that reaches well beyond its small corner of the city. It's a large corner pub split into two rooms by a central bar, one of which has a proper stage and PA. The headline night is its famous Thursday open mic (from 7pm to late) — so popular the slot list books up well in advance — backed by a Sunday-afternoon blues jam (4pm-7pm) and occasional booked bands. Three to four Bristol Beer Factory ales rotate on the bar, and there's a front patio for outdoor seating.
