About This Open Mic
The Night
The Neptune Inn is a beloved community pub and live-music bar in Hove, famous enough that David Gilmour once turned up to play its open mic. Open Mic Mondays run every week from 8:30pm to 11pm on a first-come, first-served basis — come and play, sing or recite. It's a genuinely warm, music-loving room with five handpumps and a packed gig calendar the rest of the week.
About The Neptune Inn
The Neptune Inn is a dedicated live music bar and community pub at 10 Victoria Terrace, Kingsway, Hove (BN3 2WB, East Sussex), just two minutes from Hove seafront. It runs live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night plus weekly Open Mic Mondays and jam sessions, on a first-come, first-served basis — a genuine grassroots stage that has even hosted Pink Floyd's David Gilmour playing his local. Five handpumps of well-kept cask ale, lagers, ciders, spirits and wine back up a warm, community-minded room.
