About The Fortescue
The Fortescue is a CAMRA award-winning pub at 37 Mutley Plain (PL4 6JQ) in the Mutley district of Plymouth, well placed for bus routes and the railway station. It serves up to eight cask beers at a time, including a large range of local ales alongside national favourites, and is widely regarded as one of the best pubs in Mutley — if not the city. Downstairs it keeps a busy and frequent live-music diary: live music most weekends, open mic nights where you can bring your own instrument, plus poetry, DJ nights, folk sessions, quizzes and poker. A proper community-focused free house with a packed events calendar.
