Market Hall is a restored Victorian market building on Duke Street in Devonport, Plymouth, run by the charity Real Ideas as a hub for immersive experiences, learning, co-working and community. Its centrepiece is a 360-degree immersive dome, 15 metres across with 19.1-channel spatial audio, which screens music and natural-world work including Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon, Antarctica and Our Story with David Attenborough. Around the dome sit the historic Main Hall with its central staircase, a workspace for up to 70, meeting rooms for 12 and 14, a cafe and day-rate co-working from 12.50 GBP. The programme leans towards immersive screenings, film festivals, schools work and community events rather than a regular stage-and-PA gig night, so performers should treat it as a hireable arts space first.
