Launceston Town Hall is the largest live-music and entertainment venue in North Cornwall, set in a Grade II listed Gothic building on Western Road (PL15 7AR) built in 1887 and run by Launceston Town Council. The 450-capacity Main Hall hosts a year-round programme of live music, theatre, comedy, cinema, markets and shows, with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems and underfloor heating. A Carn to Cove venue, it stages touring music and theatre across the Spring and Autumn seasons, plus tribute acts and folk performances (it is a Cornwall Folk Festival venue). The current diary has Fairport Convention on 22 October 2026, DS:UK's Dire Straits 'Brothers in 85' show on 13 November 2026 and Nik Kershaw on 26 February 2027, all at 7.30pm. Fully licensed, with two additional meeting rooms and the historic Guildhall available for hire, and a 128-space multi-storey car park adjacent (free after 6pm).
