Where Holiday Parks Book Live Music

GIGXCHANGE is where UK holiday parks and resorts book entertainers direct, with no agency. 982 artists are on the platform, from bands and singers to tribute acts and family entertainers, alongside 70 venues across 79 cities. A park posts its dates free, hears each act first, agrees the fee in the chat and books each one direct, with a contract on every booking. The booking fee is 5% on top only when you pay through GigXchange – 0% when you settle privately.

A holiday park books a whole season of entertainment at once: residencies through the summer, a headline act on Saturday, family shows in the daytime, a band in the clubhouse. Most parks fill that calendar through an entertainment agency, which means one middle layer for every act and every change.

What a park needs is variety its guests have not seen last year, acts that turn up for every night of the season, and a way to fill a gap fast when one does not.

On GigXchange a park books each act direct - hearing them first, agreeing the dates and the fee in writing, and keeping the whole season in one place. There is no holiday-park fee in the GX Index yet, so we do not quote one, and if an act drops out mid-season GX Gig Rescue sends an urgent invite to available acts nearby.

The price ladder

What does live music cost a holiday park? There is no holiday-park figure in the GX Index yet, so we do not quote one - set a budget for each act and set length with the gig rate calculator, then agree the fee with the act.

There is no GX Index figure for holiday-park bookings yet. We publish one once enough park fees exist - until then, never a pub or party figure in its place.

Use the gig rate calculator to set a budget for each act and set length, see every UK fee table on GX Index rates, and agree the fee with the act in the chat. GigXchange takes 0% of the artist's booking fee.

What you need

Does a holiday park need a licence for live music? In England and Wales a clubhouse or bar licensed to sell alcohol needs no entertainment licence for live music between 8am and 11pm for an audience of 500 or fewer (GOV.UK Live Music Act guidance); events outside that need the premises licence to cover them or a temporary events notice, and GOV.UK lists holiday parks among the premises Martyn’s Law covers.

England and WalesA licensed clubhouse or bar, 8am to 11pmAmplified live music needs no entertainment licence on premises licensed to sell alcohol, between 8am and 11pm, to an audience of 500 or fewer. Unamplified live music needs none in those hours, anywhere.
UKMartyn’s Law names holiday parksGOV.UK’s statutory guidance lists holiday parks with hotels and hostels among the premises types it covers. The Act applies where 200 or more people can be expected on the premises at once - count your largest event space and site.
