The Egerton Arms is a traditional Salford pub that has stood on Gore Street (M3 5FP), beside the AO Arena, since 1814. Today it runs a full week of grassroots entertainment: an Open Mic Night every Wednesday — turn up, put your name on the board, or find resident music scout Dan Hindmarsh — Karaoke on Friday, the venue's popular Live Music Night on Saturday, and a free Jukebox Night on Sundays. The pub gives up-and-coming Salford and Manchester performers a real stage and PA to be heard on, with a warm, community-minded crowd. Open Mon–Sat 11:00–23:00 and Sun 12:00–22:30.

About This Open Mic
The Night
The Egerton Arms is a characterful old hotel-pub on Gore Street in Salford, a stone's throw from the city centre, building a real reputation among music fans under landlord Richard Greenwood. Its 'Open Stage Wednesdays' run every Wednesday from 8pm — a relaxed night of live talent and good company. Just turn up, put your name on the board or have a word with the pub's music scout Dan Hindmarsh, and you'll get your slot; recent regulars have gone on to bigger stages. There's also Saturday live music, Friday karaoke and a free Sunday jukebox.
