About This Open Mic
The Night
The Royal Blenheim is a classic 19th-century real-ale pub on St Ebbe's Street, big on Titanic and White Horse beers and blessed with high ceilings that give the room lovely acoustics. Jamo's Open Mic runs every Sunday from 7pm to 9:30pm, hosted by James Morgan and free to play, open to all abilities and just about every style going — acoustic, blues, folk, jazz, even poetry and sea shanties. A house guitar is on hand (and keys can be sorted too), so it's an easy one to rock up to and have a go.
About The Royal Blenheim
The Royal Blenheim is a traditional Victorian real-ale pub at 13 St Ebbe's Street in central Oxford, built in 1889 and operated by Titanic Brewery. Celebrated for its rotating Titanic, White Horse and guest ales, it has featured in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide and been voted CAMRA City Pub of the Year every year since 2019. The pub runs a Sunday-night open mic that is open to all abilities, with a house guitar provided and keys available on request, plus a Wednesday quiz and live sport. A welcoming, original-and-covers-friendly grass-roots spot in the heart of the city.
