The Old Bookbinders Ale House is a quirky, family-run 19th-century pub in the heart of Oxford's Jericho (17-18 Victor Street, OX2 6BT), part of the Crafty Belle group and famous for its real ale, nook-and-cranny decor and French bistro menu. Music is a fixture: a fortnightly open mic hosted by Lee Bo runs with a top house PA plus a house guitar and keyboard provided, sitting alongside live-music nights, a pub quiz and comedy. The room is small (around 80 capacity) and intimate, welcoming both original songwriters and covers.
