About The Eagle Tavern

The ‌‌‍Eagle Tavern is a Grade II-listed pub on Corn Street in Witney, a Hook Norton house that took the brewery's Pub of the Year in 2024 and its Best Pint award in 2025. Traditional Cotswolds pub, not a converted music room.

The open mic runs on the first Sunday of every month, hosted by local musician friends of the pub. Entry is free, all comers are welcome to get up and play or just sing along, and there is a pint or two in it for performers by way of thanks. The pub does not publish a start time for the session, so it is worth a call on 01993 700121 before travelling.
