About The Hobbit Pub
The Hobbit Pub on Bevois Valley Road (SO14 0JZ), a short walk from Southampton University, is a fantasy-themed late-night pub and live-music venue rolled into one. Spread over split levels with two bars and a huge beer garden, it hosts international, national and local bands plus its own festivals through the year — an Ale festival, Cider festival and the music-led 'Messtival'. Alongside the band nights it runs an easy-going, intimate open mic in a private room where all acts are welcome, making it a genuine grassroots fixture of the city's live scene.
