About This Open Mic
The Night
The Greystones is a Thornbridge Brewery pub in south-west Sheffield with a top-class music room, the Backroom, that leans folk and blues. Its open mic runs on the last Monday of each month, 7:30pm to 10:30pm, free to all — and performers get a free drink. The line-up is genuinely open: acoustic, rock, blues, folk, jazz, hip-hop, reggae and poetry all welcome, so it's a great, broad-church monthly slot whatever you play.

About The Greystones
The Greystones is Thornbridge Brewery's flagship Sheffield pub at 7 Greystones Road (S11 7BS) — a traditional community local with a top-class music room, The Backroom, attached. Programming leans hard into folk and blues, mixing established touring artists, emerging talent and local grassroots performers, and it is widely regarded as one of the city's key folk venues. The monthly open mic runs towards the end of the month (usually the last Monday, though it varies — check listings). Around 120 capacity with a PA, guitar amp, house piano and an in-house engineer; welcomes originals and covers across folk, blues, acoustic and Americana.
