Delicious Clam is a collectively run, volunteer-powered cornerstone of Sheffield's DIY music scene at 12 Exchange Street in the city centre. Founded around 2015 (with roots back to 2013), it bundles a record label, rehearsal and recording studio, and a ground-floor gig space under one roof. The room opens roughly four times a month for live shows that skew towards experimental, punk, noise and underground guitar bands, plus its own Clam-Lines and Clams in Their Eyes specials. It's run entirely by unpaid volunteers, which gives it a genuinely community-first feel.
