About Bag o' Nails
Bag o' Nails is an institution of Glasgow's West End, on Dumbarton Road in Partick — a late-night bar and restaurant famous for its live music. It puts on music roughly five nights a week, anchored by the now-celebrated Open Stage every Thursday, a key night for unearthing and developing local talent, plus regular gigs and DJ sets. The award-winning kitchen serves locally sourced homemade pub classics, burgers and pizzas daily from 11am to 1am, and the bar carries an unusually broad range of bottled beers and spirits. Family-friendly by day and a buzzing music room by night, it's one of the most reliable grassroots stages in the West End.
