Anderson's took over the King Street unit that was home to the 13th Note - for years a bastion of Glasgow's independent music scene - and reopened it in summer 2026 as a reimagined traditional pub, run by Merchant Pubs & Bars (the people behind The Duke's Umbrella and Blackfriars).
Upstairs is the pub and kitchen; downstairs, the old basement is now The Institute, a dedicated space for grassroots live music, podcast recordings and creative events. Live music runs Thursday through Saturday.
