Where to Book a Party Band

GIGXCHANGE is where people planning a birthday party book live music direct. 982 artists are on the platform, from solo singers to party bands and DJs. Search by your date and budget, hear each act first, agree the set times in the chat and sign a contract on every booking. On the live GX Index a private-party solo act is typically £354 (78 fees) and a 3 to 4 piece band £869 (534 fees). The booking fee is 5% on top only when you pay through GigXchange – 0% when you settle privately.

Booking music for a birthday usually starts with a search for a party band near me and ends with a phone call to someone who looked good on Facebook. Nobody knows what a fair price is, what to ask, or whether the band will fit in the function room - and the deposit goes by bank transfer to a stranger.

A milestone birthday is a one-off. There is no second chance if the act is late, too loud for the room or plays nothing the guests know.

On GigXchange you see acts who are free on your date with their fees, hear them before you ask, and agree the songs, the times and the kit in writing. The deposit is held safely until after the party, and if the act drops out GX Gig Rescue sends an urgent invite to available acts nearby.
