The Poetry Club is one of Glasgow's most intimate rooms for live culture, tucked inside the SWG3 arts complex at 100 Eastvale Place, Finnieston (G3 8QG). Co-founded by SWG3 and Turner Prize-nominated artist Jim Lambie, the space is strewn with his artwork and holds roughly 125 standing (40 seated). It's a haven for smaller gigs, club nights, film screenings, zine launches and private parties, programming emerging and touring acts across rock, indie, electronic and alternative bills. Easily reached via Kelvinhall Subway and Partick or Exhibition Centre rail.
