About Southbound Cafe-Bar
Southbound Cafe-Bar is a grassroots music venue in Leamington Spa, Leamington Spa. It books Blues, Jazz; originals and covers are both welcome.
Listing notes
Southbound Café-Bar is a small bar and music venue in a railway arch on Neilston Street, in Leamington's southtown. Father and son Carl and Toby Harris opened it in 2024, and it's since been designated a Grassroots Music Venue by the Music Venue Trust.
What it lacks in size it makes up for in character. There's live music most nights it's open, with a soft spot for blues and jazz: Wednesday Midweek Sessions, band nights on Fridays and Saturdays from 8pm (blues, skiffle and the like), and Sunday afternoon sets from 4pm. A lot of shows are free entry, with ticketed nights for touring names. It's a member of the Music Venues Alliance and the UK Blues Federation, and our listings show it on the Everywhere At Once grassroots weekend in June 2026.
It's open Wednesday to Sunday (closed Monday and Tuesday), with eight taps and a long continental wine list. For anything else, the bar's email is bar@southboundcafebar.uk.
