Warwick Arts Centre is the largest arts centre in the Midlands and the biggest venue of its kind in the UK outside London's Barbican, sited on the University of Warwick campus in Coventry (CV4 7AL). Following a four-year redevelopment — the largest in its history — it reopened to events in October 2021. It draws around 300,000 visitors a year to over 3,000 events spanning contemporary and classical music, theatre, dance, comedy and film. Its flagship Butterworth Hall (added 1981) holds up to 1,540 seated or 1,200 standing with a 780-seat balcony, and has hosted Jools Holland, Elkie Brooks, Francis Rossi and many touring acts. A fully staffed professional venue with in-house technical production.
