Trof has been a Northern Quarter staple at 8 Thomas Street, Manchester (M4 1EU) since 2006. Following a full refurbishment it reopened on 1 May as The Trof Pub & Dining Room — a proper pub downstairs with good beer and bar snacks, and an intimate, cosy Dining Room upstairs (food and drink now run by Stow, the open-fire restaurant from chef Jamie Pickles). It remains a music-and-community spot: DJs spin everything from vintage pop, rock and soul to disco, funk and electro, and weeknights feature gigs, open mic nights and quizzes. A central, well-loved NQ venue that's still very much trading.

About Trof Northern Quarter

About This Open Mic
The Night
Trof Northern Quarter on Thomas Street historically ran an open mic upstairs in its Bourbon Bar, but it is no longer running. Open Mic Finder confirms the night has ended, and we couldn't find any current schedule on the venue's own listings. The bar itself remains open for food, drinks and other events.
