The Auld Hundred is one of Rose Street's oldest pubs, in the heart of Edinburgh's New Town just minutes from Princes Street and Waverley Station. Beginning life as a mission hall before becoming a pub in the 1800s, it pairs homemade traditional Scottish food and comfort classics with one of the city's largest whisky selections (over 100 drams). For musicians it's a genuine seven-nights-a-week live-music pub, running everything from local acts through to a lively Sunday open mic from 8pm until late — a house guitar is provided, with a complimentary drink for everyone who gets up to play. A PA is on hand and both originals and covers are welcome.
