Malones is an Irish pub at 242 Morrison Street with live music four nights a week, Thursday to Sunday. Expect anything from Irish trad bands and solo guitarists to singers and country artists, plus pop, punk and rock, with weekly musicians and the odd one-night-only performer. The pub updates its calendar at the start of each week.
The first floor has room for dancing and can be hired as a function room for 100 to 250 people. Malones says it is always looking for new musicians and bands, and that it will hire out the function room to musicians for free or at very low cost. It is open every day from 11am to 1am.
