Marstons Sports and Social Club is a late 1960s industrial style building with a late 1970s extension, close to the Marstons brewery and overlooking playing fields and a car park. A central bar serves a comfortable members lounge and a spacious function room with a stage and a movable partition. There is a large car park to the rear. It is the home of Burton Folk Club, whose seated capacity in the room is around 70.

The Night
Burton Folk Club runs a free open floor Singaround at Marston's Sports and Social Club, where anyone attending can perform a song or tune to the room. Singarounds fall in the weeks between the club's fortnightly booked guest nights, and the day varies: traditionally Friday, but some now run on Thursdays, so check the club's gig guide for the exact date. Doors open at 8pm and Singers Nights are free, while guest nights are 12 pounds by advance ticket. The club closes throughout June, July and August and runs Autumn and Spring seasons; it moved here from the Albion Tap House at the end of 2025.
