Darley Park is public parkland in Darley Abbey on the edge of Derby city centre, and the site of the Darley Park Weekender - three days of open-air live music staged each August by Derby LIVE, Derby City Council's arts and events team. The 2026 weekender ran across Friday 21, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August, with Billy Ocean, Marti Pellow and Katrina on the Friday, JLS, Appleton and Chesney Hawkes on the Saturday, and the closing Darley Park Concert on the Sunday - three decades old and one of the UK's biggest outdoor classical nights - with the East Midlands orchestra Sinfonia Viva under conductor Stephen Bell. The site has accessible entrances and viewing areas, BSL interpretation, a hearing loop and a Mobiloo changing facility, and almost no on-site parking. A council-run seasonal concert park, not a year-round room.
