Bar Medusa sits at 20 Preston Street in Brighton (BN1 2HN), one of the city's oldest cocktail and wine bars with more than 30 years on the strip. It's an intimate, moody room — fairy lights, tree branches and a small front patio — with a dedicated stage used for live music and comedy, plus a speakeasy-style tequila bar in the basement. The bar leans on cocktails, exotic rums, world wines and draught beers, and pairs them with regular live entertainment, welcoming both original acts and covers on its house PA. It's closed Mondays, with later hours Friday and Saturday.
