The Night
The Reindeer on Dereham Road runs 'Slightly Offensive Steve's Open Mic Night' on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month, in an intimate 200-capacity Norwich music pub. Sign-ups open at 7pm and music kicks off at 7:30, running through to 11pm with three-song sets (fewer if it's busy) and an excellent PA. New artists are always welcome — turn up, get on the list, and play.
About The Reindeer
The Reindeer is an Elgood's Brewery pub at 10 Dereham Road in Norwich (NR2 4AY) that runs as a genuine live-music venue with an intimate, traditional-pub feel and roughly a 200 capacity. It puts on an eclectic mix of live music — bands on Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons, plus folk on Wednesdays — and carries a 5-star food-hygiene rating. There's a jukebox, pool table and an enclosed rear patio garden, with The Recipe Kitchen serving burgers and wings and Too Fat Roasties doing Sunday roasts. A dependable grassroots gig pub in Norwich.
