About The Alma Inn
The Alma Inn at 152-154 Bradshawgate is Bolton's grassroots alternative and live-music venue, a Proper Pubs community local with a split-level interior, a heritage cast-iron range and Burtonwood brewery sign, and a rear garden. It has carved out a name as the town's premier independent gig pub, hosting a steady stream of rock, metal, alternative and punk bands at weekends plus its own music festivals, and is well loved by the local heavy-music crowd. There is also a dedicated open mic that opens up its professional performance space to newcomers, alongside a good range of cask ales during the week.
