About This Open Mic
The Night
Telford's Warehouse is Chester's flagship canalside music venue — a converted Georgian warehouse on the canal basin that's been an independent freehouse and gig room since 1993. Its weekly open mic runs on Sunday nights, with a rotating local host each week and a warm, supportive crowd that's used to everything from solo songwriters to short band sets. Free to play; turn up on the night to get on the list.

About Telford's Warehouse
Telford's Warehouse is an independently run free house, bar and restaurant and one of Chester's most renowned live music and arts venues. Set in a converted Georgian warehouse beside the City Walls on the banks of the Shropshire Union Canal at Tower Wharf, it keeps original industrial features and a glass frontage overlooking the canal basin. A ~250-capacity room with full backline and in-house engineer, it has hosted major names — Robert Plant, Coldplay, Courtney Pine, John Martyn, Richie Havens, Glenn Tilbrook — across blues, rock, jazz, indie and folk, and runs weekly laid-back 'Sunday Sessions' at 8pm with a rotating host. Both originals and covers are welcome.
