Telford's Warehouse is an independently run free house, bar and restaurant and one of Chester's most renowned live music and arts venues. Set in a converted Georgian warehouse beside the City Walls on the banks of the Shropshire Union Canal at Tower Wharf, it keeps original industrial features and a glass frontage overlooking the canal basin. A c. 250-capacity room with full backline and in-house engineer, it has hosted major names — Robert Plant, Coldplay, Courtney Pine, John Martyn, Richie Havens, Glenn Tilbrook — across blues, rock, jazz, indie and folk, and runs weekly laid-back 'Sunday Sessions' at 8pm with a rotating host. Both originals and covers are welcome.
