The Night
Millsy's runs one of the West Midlands' longest-running open mic nights, every Sunday from 6pm at the cafe bar on Earlsdon Street. It's a warm, well-loved music room showcasing the region's best unsigned talent, with a full set from a weekly featured musician anchoring the night. To grab a slot, turn up between 5 and 6pm and ask for organiser Sam McNulty (or email sam@cov.events ahead of time) — whether you're singing your own songs or just there for the evening, it's a friendly, supportive crowd.
About Millsy's Cafe Bar
Millsy's Cafe Bar & Bistro is a long-established (since 2000) cafe bar in the lively Earlsdon district of Coventry, at 20 Earlsdon Street (CV5 6EG). It hosts weekly live music on Friday and Saturday nights and runs one of the West Midlands' longest-running open mic nights on Sunday evenings from 6.30pm — a magnet for the region's most talented unsigned musicians. Performers are asked to arrive around 5.30–6pm and see organiser Sam McNulty for a slot. Alongside the music it offers brunch and dinner menus, quiz nights and themed events, making it a versatile and well-loved Coventry venue for both original artists and covers.
