The King and Co is an independent craft-beer pub at 100 Clapham Park Road in Clapham, south London (SW4 7BZ), small but perfectly formed and located off the main drag of Clapham Common. The relaxed, characterful room, with exposed brick, fireplaces and mismatched second-hand furniture, pours a rotating 18 kegs and 6 casks and hosts a lively events programme: live music, DJs, tastings and masterclasses, a competitive pub quiz every Monday at 8pm, and a monthly open mic on the last Wednesday of the month where all genres and styles are welcome. Seasonal specials include an Oktoberfest party on Friday 2 October 2026, Taco Tuesdays with Cask Club, and a weekend Mexican brunch. It also runs rotating kitchen residencies by street-food traders and pop-ups (food Monday to Friday 5pm to 10pm, Saturday noon to 10pm). Open Monday to Wednesday 4pm to 11pm, Thursday 4pm to 11.30pm, Friday and Saturday noon to midnight, Sunday 11am to 11pm. A genuine neighbourhood live-music and open-mic spot.
