Morocco Bound is an independent bookshop, cafe and bar tucked down Morocco Street, just off Bermondsey Street. In the evenings the shop floor turns into a small listening room, with the bands and songwriters playing in front of the shelves.
The music is mostly acoustic and intimate: folk triple bills, Americana and indie songwriters, single and album launches, and a monthly gypsy jazz night with Fidelio Hot Club. It sits in a wider arts programme of author talks, poetry and life drawing, so the crowd comes ready to listen.
