Listing notes
The Wandsworth Morocco Bound is the newer sister of the Bermondsey bookshop bar, at Pilots Walk in the New Acres development. Same idea: books, coffee and drinks by day, and an intimate gig room among the shelves in the evening.
Its Bookshop Sessions run jazz and folk nights, alongside Jazz Manouche, bossa nova tributes, songwriter sets and album launches such as EM Freud's Tri-Light. The audience sits close and listens, which suits acoustic and small-ensemble acts.
Songwriters who have played the Bermondsey shop often bring a set here too. Contact the shop by email to pitch a show, and look on Dice for the current run of nights.
