3 Rivers Bar & Coffee Lounge opened in June 2017 and takes its name from the Rivers Leven and Tees and Bassleton Beck that border the community. It is a single-room cafe bar in the Sandgate Park shopping precinct in Ingleby Barwick, with minimalist decor, a mix of bench and table seating and an outdoor area. By day it serves tea, coffee, pastries and savoury food with breakfast from 9am to 11am, and alcohol is served from 11am onwards. In the evening it doubles as a small live music room and hosts the monthly Ingleby Open Mic Night.

The Night
The Ingleby Open Mic Night runs on the first Tuesday of every month from 7pm to 10pm at 3 Rivers Bar in Ingleby Barwick. It is run by Undercover Acoustics with support from Tom Powell Music, and every performer gets free photos and video of their set. Seasoned performers and first-timers are both welcome, and you can come simply to listen. Pizza and garlic bread are served until 9pm and the bar stays open all night. Pattern: first Tuesday of the month.
