The Green Room is Stockton-on-Tees' dedicated grassroots live music room, inside Green Dragon Studios in Theatre Yard, between the High Street and the Riverside. Holding up to 60 people, it specialises in intimate, exclusive gigs - the Jim Ghedi folk show being a typical booking - and is run on a not-for-profit basis by the Tees Music Alliance, which also provides sound services, advice and information to the wider local music community. An important nursery venue for touring folk, indie and acoustic acts in the Tees Valley.
