Darlington Hippodrome is a beautifully restored Grade II-listed Edwardian theatre on Parkgate in the heart of Darlington, County Durham. Reopened in 2017 after a major restoration, its red-plush main auditorium seats around 1,000 across stalls, dress circle and upper tiers. The programme is a touring mix of musicals, drama, pantomime, comedy and tribute concerts such as the 'Queen of the Night' show — a proper night out rather than a grassroots gig room. Despite the slug, the venue is in Darlington, not London.
