An Ossett Brewery pub spread over two levels with a roughly 400 capacity, it serves real ales, pies and pizzas under exposed brickwork and music-inspired murals. Free live music runs through the week, with the headline being live cover bands every Saturday from 9pm (free entry) spanning blues, rock, soul, indie, funk and pop — favouring an intimate, close-contact 'unplugged' feel between artists and crowd.

The Night
The Hop is a lively 400-capacity live-music bar tucked into the Dark Arches at Granary Wharf, beneath Leeds City Station. Its open mic runs every Wednesday from 8pm — there's an in-house electro-acoustic guitar and electric piano you can use, or bring your own and plug straight into their excellent PA, with a free bottle of Coors Light for every performer. The rest of the week brings cover bands on Friday and Saturday and the Sunday Gathering's blues, folk and rock from 4pm.
