The Night
A fortnightly Tuesday open mic at Barnaby's Lounge, a two-floor live music and cocktail bar in Hastings town centre, hosted by New Zealand songwriter Konarucchi. Anyone of any skill level is welcome and you do not need to bring anything: the venue supplies a PA, amps, a guitar and a piano. The downstairs room is a proper listening space, and the night is run as a relaxed, inclusive session rather than a showcase.
When it runs Every second Tuesday, 7pm-10.30pm. Separately, Barnaby's runs a Monthly Jazz Jam at 8pm on a Tuesday, so check which night you are turning up for.
